Art Against Alzheimer’s

I am offering paintings, drawings, and jewelry as my Artists Sunday special. Every sale generates a donation of 20% of the price of all purchases to one of two charitable recipients. The first is Partnerships Adult Day Center, located in Hamden CT and serving the greater New Haven area. As a local non-profit adult day center focused on adults with dementias, Partnerships provides a much needed service to family caregivers. As former caregiver for my late mother with Alzheimer’s Disease, I was only able to keep her home because there was help like this. It would otherwise have been impossible for me to run errands, work away from the house, or even occasionally grab a bit of respite.

The second is the nationally known  Alzheimer’s Association. This non-profit offers support groups, education for caregivers, referrals, and its emergency 24/7 Helpline is a lifesaver! You may choose which recipient you’d like the donation to go to or leave the choice up to me.
