About Artists Sunday

Artists Sunday is the nationwide movement dedicated to supporting artists and recognizing the impact they have in enriching our lives, communities, and the economy.

The powerful new effort is designed to make the Sunday after Thanksgiving the most profitable day of the year for artists. Consumers are encouraged to shop with artists and purchase creative, handcrafted gifts for the holidays. Artists Sunday follows Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, prior to Cyber Monday.

Supporters include individual artists, economic development agencies and non-profit organizations across the country. To learn more about Artists Sunday artists, partners, sponsors, or involvement in promoting commerce with artists, please visit http://ArtistsSunday.com/

How We All Work Together

Artists Sunday is a national marketing campaign encouraging shoppers to purchase from artists, and give unique, original items as gifts for the holiday season. We provide a free comprehensive Artists Sunday Marketing Toolkit to Artists, Partners, and Patrons. Participants use the elements in the Toolkit that work best for them, generating buzz and excitement with consumers. Participation is free.

For Artists

Artists Sunday focuses consumer attention on artists during the holiday shopping season. We highlight artists the first Sunday after Thanksgiving, with the goal of increasing artists’ visibility on that day, and the days leading up to and after Artists Sunday.

For Not-for-Profit organizations supporting artists

Artists Sunday Partners program is designed for local arts agencies, state agencies, counties, chambers of commerce, national organizations, associations, municipalities, and community groups across the country, all of which are focused on supporting their artists.

For Commercial Companies

Commercial companies can become Artists Sunday Patrons and  show support for artists and benefit from everything that Artists Sunday has to offer.  Patrons could include: galleries, merchants, ecommerce sites, vendors, shippers, and others that support artists and the arts and crafts ecosystem. The Patron Program is free.
