The genesis of Artists Sunday took root in November 2019. In January we started building in earnest. March arrived and everything changed. The Coronavirus / COVID-19 altered all of our lives, top to bottom.
While we don’t fully understand all the implications yet, everyone is adjusting to the “new normal”, trying to move forward while staying safe.
Now more than ever, as we all face new challenges presented by these unprecedented times, our mission remains the same: helping artists thrive.
Even as most of the world is currently in a “stay-at-home” social distancing-type of situation, we continue to build, looking ahead toward fall.
We know fall may not be most people’s top priority currently, but artists need the support and we are fortunate to still be able to bring this program to fruition.
So in this incredibly challenging time, we are grateful to be able to continue with our mission, building the Artists Sunday network, supporting artists across the country.
The larger our network of participants, the louder our unified voice will be. With that in mind, we are keeping calm and carrying on.
Stay safe out there.
