What is Art

What is Art?

We promote the purchase of original, creative arts and crafts from individual artists and artisans. We’re not in a position to define what art is. (Who is?). But, we thought it might be valuable to provide a non-all-inclusive list of art types. See something missing. Tell us.

We cannot possibly list all of the potential arts so, no, this is not meant to be an all inclusive list….

Anyone who sells someone else’s art, not their own, is considered a non-artist commercial entity and is not eligible to participate in Artists Sunday as an artist.

Commercial companies selling art that is not their own could include galleries, retailers,  ecommerce sites, theaters, etc.

Commercial companies are welcome to join Artists Sunday as sponsor partners.

Sponsor partners fund Artists Sunday. Providing us the funding to further our marketing and promotional activities, keep Artists Sunday free for Artists and Artist Sunday Partner members (not-for-profit organizations).
